We are all-inclusive eco-resort, and we portray the Klahoose traditional values, while offering an immersive exploration into this pristine region rich in diverse wilderness and cultural significance. Toba Inlet wildlife tours include Spring Bear viewing and late Summer to Autumn Grizzly Bear, Salmon run tours led by our Indigenous guides.

Only accessible by boat or seaplane, the resort is located within the heart of Desolation Sound, on Homfray Channel between the coastal mountain peaks of British Columbia’s Sunshine Coast, the Salish Sea, and the edge of the BC's Great Bear Rainforest.
The ancient voices songs echoed in the traditional Klahoose greeting welcome newly arrived guests with a casual gathering on the lodge verandah. One deep breath of the pure, energizing forest air has life's worries vanishing instantly. Senses awaken upon hearing the distant call of a majestic eagle as it soars above a pod of nearby Orca's as their dorsal fins break the water's calm surface.

With a typical stay consisting of just 12 guests in our four Lodge Rooms and three larger Cabins, Klahoose Wilderness Resort is an intimate sustainable eco resort offering a highly personal experience. Guests enjoy meeting the Klahoose and local staff, and engaging with the other guests, which often develops into new friendships. Exclusive resort buy-outs for multi-generational families or “bubble groups” is also possible with shared accommodation.
As each day passes, you will fall into the rhythm of the coast. With our staff guiding your journey, you'll be able to slow down, smell the cedar, feel the ocean and be inspired by the natural beauty of our land and Indigenous culture.

The Traveler Experience

Four comfortable lodge rooms accommodate 2 to 4 guests per spacious room in the main lodge

Three roomy, cedar, oceanfront cabins accommodate up to 5 guests each with 3-4 queen beds

We can accommodate on average between 14 guests (double occupancy with four Lodge Rooms and three Cabins) to a maximum of about 22 guests at full capacity (groups using all beds in rooms and cabins) - which can he perfect size for lodge buyout which always promises an excellent travel experience
