In partnership with Mosaic Earth Travel, join expert facilitators as they guide us through a holistic approach to personal wellness, connecting the mind, body and spirit through yoga, nutrition, outdoor adventure and ceremony. Fall into the rhythm of nature in BC's pristine wilderness at this luxury off-grid resort, owned and operated by the original stewards of the land - the Klahoose First Nation.

FAQs:

1. Do I have to be fit and active for this retreat? Come as you are! There is no minimum fitness level required to enjoy this retreat.
2. Can you accommodate guests with mobility restrictions/limitations?  Good mobility is recommended for transportation to/from Klahoose, which requires walking up and down the marina dock and ramps, in Lund Harbour, and also embarking and disembarking vessels. There are stairs at the main entrance to the resort and to all rooms and cabins. Please contact us directly to discuss your circumstances and see how we can make it work.
3. Is the retreat open to men as well? Wild Spirit is specially designed for women and those who identify as female to come together in a supportive and inclusive environment. Stay tuned for future retreats for all genders. 
4. Can I come as a solo traveller? Yes, absolutely! Our pricing is based on single occupancy, so whether you come solo or with a friend or two, you'll have your own bed and be sharing common space with other retreat participants.

5. Do you have WI-FI ? Klahoose Wilderness Resort is a remote off-grid lodge and the perfect space to disconnect from our busy lives. Please note that there is no cell phone service at the resort, however there is WIFI connection in the main lodge.

Day By Day Itinerary 

Wellness & Yoga Retreat 2022

 

OCTOBER 13TH

DAY 1: ARRIVE AT KLAHOOSE WILDERNESS LODGE VIA FLOAT PLANE OR WATER TAXI 

Meet your group in Lund or Powell River for a boat transfer to Desolation Sound wilderness and Klahoose Wilderness Resort. Settle into your cabin and unwind with a yoga class. Welcome dinner followed by opening campfire and intention setting.

OCTOBER 14TH

DAY 2: WELNESS WORKSHOPS

Start the day with a mindful meditation and yoga flow. Wellness workshops throughout the day will be led by our expert facilitators - more details to come. Enjoy time to yourself to rest and connect with the wilderness that surrounds the resort. Nature trails, sea kayaks, and SUPs are available.

OCTOBER 15TH

DAY 3: WILDLIFE & CULTURE BOAT TOUR

Enjoy a day of adventure on the ocean with local guides from the Klahoose First Nation. As we cruise through the surrounding Klahoose territory with its massive waterfalls and coastal rainforest in search of wildlife like Orca and grizzly bears, guides share the cultural history of the region. 

OCTOBER 16TH

DAY 4: WELLNESS WORKSHOP 

Start the day with a mindful meditation and yoga flow. Enjoy a variety of wellness-related workshops led by our expert facilitators throughout the day. Leisure time in the afternoon to rest and connect with the wilderness that surrounds the resort. Closing and integration ceremony.

OCTOBER 17TH

DAY 5: RETURN TO LUND AND POWELL RIVER 

We close out our time together with a final movement & mindfulness session, integrating our experiences of the last 4 days and preparing for the transition home. After a healthy breakfast and goodbyes to our hosts, we depart via boat transfer for Lund. The retreat concludes.

DR. JENNA CREASER

Jenna is a Holistic Family Physician, Yoga Teacher and the founder of Rising Rose Wellness, based on Cortes Island, BC. She has training in Yoga therapy, Mindfulness, Hypnotherapy, CBT, Compassionate Inquiry, and Intuitive Coaching, among many other mediation and inner-healing programs. She is a passionate advocate for promoting the health of ourselves and the planet, and enjoys connecting with others in wild spaces and places.

LJ JACKETT

LJ is a certified yoga teacher with over 400 hours of training including vinyasa, yin, yoga nidra and yoga therapy. Her passion is combining nature, meditation, and yoga to make for an all-around grounding and healing therapy. She splits her time between the West Coast of BC and Kenora Ontario, and traveling in warm climates around the world.

PAM DUYNSTEE

As the Founder & Director of Mosaic Earth Travel, Pam is dedicated to harnessing the power of travel, collaboration, and connection to support the wellbeing of our planet and its people. She has a Masters of Science in Tourism and International Development and brings her passion for sustainable tourism to her work as a leader, guide, and travel designer. Pam is based in Squamish, BC where she finds joy in the wild beauty and wellness-minded community.

  • 4-nights' accommodation at Klahoose Wilderness Resort in a private room OR shared room/cabin. 

  • Healthy and delicious locally-sourced meals - everything from afternoon snack on Day 1 to breakfast on Day 5.

  • Daily retreat programming led by expert facilitators, including yoga, meditation, workshops, hiking and forest therapy, and more.

  • Wildlife and cultural tour led by local Klahoose guides (full day tour).

  • Access to private dock with sea kayaks and SUPs, nature trails, BBQ and campfire area, and the Great Room with couches and wood-burning fireplace.

  • Covered boat transfer from Lund, BC to the Desolation Sound and the Resort (45 minutes). An optional land shuttle is available from Powell River Airport to Lund  - where the boat leaves for the Resort

  • Voluntary gratuity at the end of your trip for your Retreat Leaders.

This retreat is booked with our partners at Mosaic Earth Travel.  Please register by completing the register now button above. You will then received notification from Mosaic Earth Travel to select your preffered package and make your payment.  Your deposit of 10% is due at time of booking and the remaining balance is due by July 30, 2022. 

Your deposit is refundable until July 30, less a $50 fee per person. Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to travel will not be eligible for a refund.
